This monkey salvaged a banana peel from somewhere and had a bit of a snack.
Nothing refreshes on a hot day like a banana peel.
Moments after I took this photo, this monkey tried to get into our bus. I yelled "hey!" at him, and he rewarded me with a couple of hisses. I then decided to go see the temple.
Our tour guide (in the background) stopped to let me get this shot. Although I found the monkeys amusing, I can see quite clearly why most locals consider them to be pests. They are clever, those monkeys. Oh yes.
